Cieffe31 carries out efficiency and effectiveness tests of the products of the AquaVisionFriend family on surfaces to be treated.

Construction
In order to guarantee perfect results on stone or customers' specific surfaces, Cieffe 31 carries out tests of surface protection efficiency and subsequent removal of soiling agents (in general provided by customers in order to ensure maximum objectivity). Only after a process documented and approved by the customer can the protective technology be applied. The results in terms of cost savings are always surprising and can vary significantly depending on the value of the surface to be protected.

Photovoltaics
To test the product on photovoltaic installations, the cells can already be installed. Portions of the installation are selected on average no less than 300 kW, where the nanotechnological compound is applied, enabling the comparison of treated and non-treated arrays of panels. This test enables us to monitor over time the differential in performance of the two portions of the same photovoltaic installation in the same atmospheric and environmental conditions. This provides customers with a precise evaluation, in terms of cost and ROI. Cieffe31 has devised an ROI evaluation method on a 20 year basis using data specific to each photovoltaic installation, assuming application of AquaVisionFriend, and depending on the installation's location, its kW produced, the incentivised tariff it is subject to and the destination of the energy produced (if it is sold in full or self-consumed and under what conditions).
There are three ways to apply AquaVisionFriend to a surface:

INDUSTRIAL: with a specially designed machine to apply AquaVisionFriend at the end of the production line, with increased performance and productivity results and low investment costs. The procedure can be done in various phases of the production cycle given the rapidity of the curing process. The ideal temperature for application is the one normally found at work places.

EXISTING SITES: treatment is applied with a mobile unit that uses a machine similar to the industrial one, or special manual devices that enable the application of AquaVisionFriend in ideal conditions. Thus a very similar result to the industrial treatment can be obtained. In this case, for optimal treatment, the effects of weather conditions and temperature in particular should be taken into account.

DIRECTLY BY THE CUSTOMER: by participating in specific training courses and obtaining a certificate of qualification, customers may have their own personnel, duly trained by Cieffe31 technicians who periodically hold training sessions on-site at customers' offices, apply AquaVisionFriend.

Removers
Removers should be applied according to the following instructions:
  • application: with a cloth or brush; Remover is applied like a normal detergent and must be spread uniformly on the affected area. Depending on the quantity of graffiti to be removed, it may be necessary to re-apply the product with a brush or cloth on the affected area.
  • After application the product should be left on for about ten minutes (on average, depending on the extent and type of ink used).
  • Afterwards the product should be removed with a hose or high pressure water jet cleaner. The jet should be aimed directly at the treated area at a distance of 5 - 15 cm.
Weather conditions for using Remover:
  • Air temperature between 10C and 35C.
